The monitoring employs a wet-chemical principle which is QPA accepted and virtually interference free. EES is capable of monitoring ammonia (slip) levels on a variety of fossil fuels at temperatures as high as 1000°F and with high particulate concentrations. When compared to conventional “batch” methods, the monitor generates a high volume of very accurate data which can be integrated in a data acquisition or plant control system. In addition, the monitor can be readily relocated to survey multiple test planes, or stratification within ductwork. Process conditions impacting ammonia slip are readily evaluated and optimized using EES’ ammonia monitoring services.
