CCS-64X micronized calcium carbonate is a complete system for mitigating SO₂, SO₃ and HCl emissions from coal fired boilers. This system has been designed to economically remove up to 70% of SO₂ emissions and up to 100% of SO₃ without the addition of a wet or dry scrubber. The system is ideal for facilities that do not have the space and/or budget to construct a scrubber unit. For those units with scrubbers, CCS-64X may be used to trim SO₂ upstream of the FGD unit by up to 50% to improve the scrubber's efficiency.
