The Opacitrol Series of combustion catalysts is a custom manufactured specialty chemical treatment for utility and industrial boilers containing the highest concentration of molecular calcium possible in an aqueous solution. When used with an EES PROCESS™ or Co-Treat Program, OPACITROL will assist in the reduction of NO_x, visual and particulate emissions as well as fly ash carbon content. A lowering of stack opacity is also achievable with use of this product. Other benefits of OPACITROL™ include a reduction of exit SO₃ levels, and an increase of the pH of fly ash.
