EES presenting “A Detailed Overview of the KLeeNwater Pilot System for ELG Compliance” at EUEC

EES will be presenting a paper focused on their KLeeNwater Pilot System at the upcoming Energy, Utility & Environment Conference (EUEC) in San Diego on Tuesday March 6th

Title: A Detailed Overview of the KLeeNwater Pilot System for ELG Compliance

Location & Time: Track H4.6 (CCR & ELG) – Tuesday, March 6, 2018 – 10:00am – 12:00pm

EES’ KLeeNwater platform is a novel approach to pretreat and concentrate wastewater streams to achieve over 87% recovery rate, using micro-filtration and an advanced high pressure RO system. This approach allows for minimal chemical usage to keep sludge formation and operating costs to a minimum. KLeeNwater has conducted several successful pilot studies at major utilities to determine the most cost effective treatment program to meet ELG limits for treat and discharge or zero liquid discharge (ZLD) scenarios. This presentation will discuss the flexibility and easy set-up of the KLeeNwater pilot system and will summarize ELG data collected. The system consists of one 40’ Hi-Cube steel conex container. The dimensions of the container are 40’–0” x 8’-0” x 9’-6”.
